  1. Oversee the clinical documentation integrity process and ensure accuracy and consistency in all documentation.
  2. Lead and manage a team of clinical documentation specialists to ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and documentation requirements.
  4. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to identify and address documentation deficiencies and provide education and training as needed.
  5. Monitor documentation trends and identify areas for improvement to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with documentation standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation guidelines to ensure adherence and provide guidance to staff.
  8. Prepare and present reports on documentation accuracy and compliance to senior management.
  9. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and support for continuous improvement.
  10. Act as a liaison between clinical documentation staff and other departments to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Documentation Improvement Or Related Healthcare Role.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Cms Regulations, Coding Guidelines, And Industry Best Practices For Clinical Documentation.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Healthcare Professionals.

  • Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (Ccds) Or Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (Cdip) Preferred.
