  1. Provide compassionate care to patients and their families in accordance with Atrium Health's mission and values.
  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  3. Monitor and assess patient's condition, report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  8. Assist in coordinating and scheduling appointments, tests, and procedures for patients.
  9. Perform routine nursing duties, such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and performing basic wound care.
  10. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
  11. Stay current with all nursing practices, procedures, and standards of care.
  12. Demonstrate professionalism and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  13. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met.
  14. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  16. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and educational programs.
  17. Maintain a positive and respectful working relationship with all team members.
  18. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of nursing practice.
  19. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and customer service.
  20. Be a role model for other LPNs and healthcare professionals by displaying a positive attitude, professionalism, and dedication to patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Lpn License: Candidates Must Have An Active Lpn License In The State Of North Carolina To Be Considered For The Position.

  • Nursing Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Nursing Experience Is Required, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: All Applicants Must Hold A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members Is Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records (Emr): Experience With Electronic Medical Records, Such As Epic, Is Preferred As Atrium Health Utilizes Emrs For Patient Care.
