
Lead Environmental Services Technician

- Lead a team of environmental services technicians in maintaining cleanliness and safety of all areas in Atrium Health facilities.
- Train and supervise environmental services technicians, ensuring they follow established protocols and procedures.
- Oversee the scheduling and assigning of tasks to ensure proper coverage and timely completion of all cleaning duties.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure they are properly utilized and stored.
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
- Collaborate with other departments to address any environmental service-related issues or concerns.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
- Create and maintain records of cleaning activities, supplies, and equipment.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and ensure the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times.
- Serve as a role model for the team by demonstrating professionalism, excellent work ethic, and commitment to the mission and values of Atrium Health.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Environmental Services, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Infection Control Protocols, Hazardous Waste Management, And Osha Regulations.
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Environmental Services Staff.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Patients, Staff, And Management.
Proven Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Problem-Solve, And Make Decisions In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
