The ideal candidate for this role is a compassionate individual with excellent customer service and communication skills who is comfortable working with diverse populations.The successful Hospital Registrar at Atrium Health will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have at least one year of hospital registration experience, and be well-versed in the use of computer systems for patient registration. They should also be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about providing the best patient experience possible. The successful candidate will be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with medical staff and provide quality customer service. Responsibilities of a Hospital Registrar at Atrium Health:

  1. Ensure that patient registration information is accurate and up-to-date.
  2. Maintain patient records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  3. Process patient insurance and payment information.
  4. Assist the medical staff in providing the highest quality of patient care.
  5. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
  6. Work with diverse populations and ensure all patients receive equal treatment.
  7. Utilize computer systems to process patient registrations.
  8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
  9. Handle multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  10. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with medical staff and other hospital personnel.
