Financial Counselor

1. Analyze patient billing, insurance, and payment systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
2. Provide customer service to patients and their families regarding billing and payment issues.
3. Handle and resolve billing and payment disputes.
4. Stay up-to-date on insurance and payment regulations and procedures.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and financial reports.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
7. Assist in developing strategies to improve the efficiency of billing and payment processes.
8. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
9. Respond to inquiries from patients and their families in a timely manner.
10. Maintain a positive, professional attitude and demeanor in all interactions.
