  1. Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries, and management of chronic conditions.
  2. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs and medical history.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, including documentation of diagnoses, treatments, and medications prescribed.
  4. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, providing education and guidance on maintaining good health and preventing illness.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, specialists, and pharmacists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  6. Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in family medicine, continuously expanding knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.
  7. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in healthcare, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
  8. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  9. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care, treating each patient with empathy, respect, and dignity.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: Atrium Health Requires All Family Medicine Physicians To Hold A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Family Medicine By The American Board Of Family Medicine Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Family Physicians.

  • Valid State Medical License: Candidates Must Hold A Valid And Unrestricted License To Practice Medicine In The State Of North Carolina.

  • Residency Training: Atrium Health Requires Candidates To Have Completed An Accredited Residency Program In Family Medicine.

  • Experience In Primary Care: Candidates Should Have Experience Providing Primary Care Services To Patients Of All Ages, Including Children, Adults, And Elderly Individuals. Experience In Managing Chronic Conditions And Promoting Preventive Care Is Also Preferred.
