Residency Training: Atrium Health Requires Candidates To Have Completed An Accredited Residency Program In Family Medicine.
Medical Degree: A Qualified Candidate For The Family Medicine Physician Position At Atrium Health One Health Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board-Certified In Family Medicine By The American Board Of Family Medicine Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Family Physicians.
Active Medical License: The Candidate Must Possess An Active, Unrestricted Medical License In The State Of North Carolina Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.
Experience In Family Medicine: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Family Medicine Physician, Preferably In A Primary Care Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing Acute And Chronic Conditions, Performing Routine Physical Exams, And Providing Preventive Care.
