In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized exercise plans for patients in our inpatient care units, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in exercise physiology or a related field, as well as relevant experience working with patients in a clinical setting.   1. Develop and implement individualized exercise plans for patients in our inpatient care units.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to improve patient outcomes.
  3. Utilize knowledge of exercise science to create effective and safe exercise programs for patients.
  4. Monitor and track patient progress and adjust exercise plans as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress.
  6. Communicate with patients and their families about exercise plans and progress.
  7. Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and safety precautions.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in exercise physiology.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  11. Attend and participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  15. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  16. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  17. Assist with the development and implementation of exercise programs for patients in other areas of the hospital.
  18. Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to promote the benefits of exercise and physical wellness.
  19. Provide support and guidance to other healthcare professionals on exercise and physical activity for patients.
  20. Continuously evaluate and improve exercise programs based on patient outcomes and feedback.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Exercise Physiology Or Related Field.

  • Certified Exercise Physiologist (Cep) Or Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Ccep) Through The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm) Or Similar Organization.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As An Exercise Physiologist In An Inpatient Setting.

  • Knowledge And Experience In Developing And Implementing Individualized Exercise Plans For Patients With A Variety Of Medical Conditions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team And Educate Patients On Exercise And Lifestyle Modifications.
