  1. Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff by following established cleaning protocols and procedures.
  2. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  3. Ensure that all assigned areas are free of clutter, hazards, and potential infection sources.
  4. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed to ensure continuous availability.
  5. Follow safety guidelines and properly use cleaning equipment and chemicals to prevent accidents and injuries.
  6. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff to address any concerns and ensure a high level of customer service.
  8. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of diseases and maintain a safe environment.
  9. Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
  10. Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and infection control practices.
  11. Collaborate with other members of the environmental services team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  12. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or discrepancies.
  13. Demonstrate a positive attitude and work ethic in all interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline cleaning processes in order to provide the best possible service to our patients and community.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: This Position Typically Requires A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged.

  • Knowledge Of Cleaning Practices And Procedures: A Strong Understanding Of Proper Cleaning Techniques, Chemical Usage, And Safety Protocols Is Essential For An Environmental Services Technician.

  • Experience In Healthcare Or Related Industry: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting Or A Related Industry, Such As Hospitality Or Janitorial Services, Is Preferred.

  • Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects: This Job May Involve Lifting And Moving Heavy Equipment, Furniture, And Supplies, So Candidates Should Be Physically Capable Of Performing These Tasks.

  • Attention To Detail: Environmental Services Technicians Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Areas Are Thoroughly Cleaned And Sanitized. This Includes Checking For And Reporting Any Maintenance Or Safety Issues.
