Environmental Services Technician

1. Maintain a safe and clean environment: The primary responsibility of the Environmental Services Technician is to ensure that all areas of Atrium Health facilities are clean, sanitized, and free from any potential hazards.
2. Follow established protocols and procedures: The technician will be responsible for following all established protocols and procedures to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
3. Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks: This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks, including but not limited to, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and waste management.
4. Monitor and replenish supplies: The technician will be responsible for monitoring and replenishing supplies such as paper towels, soap, and disinfectants to ensure an adequate supply for all areas of the facility.
5. Use proper equipment and techniques: It is the responsibility of the technician to use the appropriate equipment and techniques to effectively clean and sanitize all areas of the facility.
6. Report any maintenance or safety issues: The Environmental Services Technician will be responsible for reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
7. Adhere to infection control policies: The technician must adhere to all infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
8. Collaborate with other team members: This role requires collaboration with other team members, such as nurses and maintenance staff, to ensure a coordinated effort in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
