Environmental Services Technician

1. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks in designated areas of the facility, including patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and common areas.
2. Follow all established cleaning protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
3. Utilize appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to effectively and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
4. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
5. Respond to urgent cleaning requests from staff and patients, such as spills or accidents, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
6. Restock and replenish supplies in designated areas, including paper products, soap, and hand sanitizer.
7. Assist with setup and breakdown of various events and meetings held within the facility.
8. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
9. Follow proper waste management procedures, including disposal of hazardous materials, to maintain a safe and clean environment.
10. Collaborate with other members of the environmental services team to ensure all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standards.
11. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to stay updated on cleaning protocols and procedures.
12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety regulations and confidentiality guidelines.
13. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, responding to any requests or concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
14. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by actively seeking out ways to streamline processes and improve the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility.
