
Environmental Services Technician

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for Atrium Health facilities, including patient rooms, common areas, and offices.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals to effectively remove dirt, bacteria, and other contaminants from surfaces.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
- Respond promptly to any spills or accidents and follow proper protocol for clean-up and disposal.
- Ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good working condition and properly stored.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and maintain a clean and orderly work schedule.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on new cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Follow all Atrium Health policies and procedures, including but not limited to confidentiality, safety, and code of conduct.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area at all times.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including but not limited to moving furniture, restocking supplies, and assisting with special projects.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Role Of An Environmental Services Technician At Atrium Health.
Knowledge Of Environmental Services Procedures And Techniques: Atrium Health Seeks Candidates Who Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Environmental Services Procedures And Techniques, Including Sanitation, Disinfection, And Waste Management.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility, Will Be Preferred For This Role. This Experience Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Unique Cleaning Requirements And Infection Control Protocols In A Healthcare Environment.
Physical Ability To Perform Job Duties: Environmental Services Technicians At Atrium Health Are Required To Perform Physically Demanding Tasks, Such As Lifting And Moving Heavy Equipment, Standing For Long Periods, And Working In Various Environmental Conditions. Candidates Must Be Able To Meet These Physical Demands To Be Considered For The Role.
