  1. Provide emergency medical care to individuals at events in and around the community.
  2. Operate and maintain emergency medical vehicles, ensuring they are always in proper working condition.
  3. Respond to emergency calls and administer appropriate medical treatment.
  4. Collaborate with team members to assess and prioritize patients' needs.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records.
  6. Communicate with event organizers and other emergency responders to ensure efficient and effective care.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  8. Continuously monitor and assess patients' conditions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive medical information.
  10. Attend regular training and educational sessions to stay updated on the latest medical procedures and protocols.
  11. Participate in community outreach programs and events to promote emergency medical services.
  12. Take responsibility for restocking and maintaining medical supplies and equipment.
  13. Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and make quick and accurate decisions.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Emt Certification: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Valid Emt Certification From An Accredited Organization. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Emergency Medical Care.

  • Experience In Event Medicine: Atrium Health Is Looking For Candidates With Experience In Providing Medical Care At Events. This Could Include Experience As An Emt At Concerts, Sporting Events, Festivals, Etc. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Work In High-Pressure Situations And Handle A Diverse Range Of Medical Emergencies.

  • Clean Driving Record: As An Emt Driver, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Safely Transporting Patients To Medical Facilities. Therefore, A Clean Driving Record Is Essential To Ensure The Safety Of Both The Patient And The Driver.

  • First Aid And Cpr Certification: In Addition To Emt Certification, The Candidate Should Also Hold A Valid First Aid And Cpr Certification. This Is Crucial For Providing Immediate Care To Patients In Emergency Situations.

  • Knowledge Of Emergency Vehicle Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Emergency Vehicle Operations, Including Proper Use Of Lights And Sirens, Defensive Driving Techniques, And Traffic Laws. This Knowledge Is Essential For Safely Navigating Through Traffic And Responding To Emergency Calls.
