- Administer medications and perform medical procedures according to established protocols.

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.

- Remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick and effective decisions.
- Comfort and reassure patients and their families during emergency situations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and other healthcare professionals.

- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide holistic care for patients.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Represent Atrium Health and the EMT profession positively in the community.
Valid Emt Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Emt Certification From An Accredited Institution And Be Registered With The Appropriate State Licensing Board.
Prior Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As An Emt In A Clinical Or Emergency Response Setting Is Preferred.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association Or The American Red Cross.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Medical Staff, And Other Emergency Personnel.
Physical Fitness: The Candidate Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Carry Heavy Equipment, As Well As Be Able To Stand For Long Periods Of Time And Work In Physically Demanding Environments.
