Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field Is Required For The Director Respiratory Care Services Ii Position At Atrium Health. This Education Provides A Strong Foundation In Respiratory Care Principles And Practices, As Well As Essential Leadership And Management Skills.
Active Licensure As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt): The Director Respiratory Care Services Ii Must Hold A Current And Active Rrt License From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc). This Credential Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise In Respiratory Care And Is Recognized As The Standard For Respiratory Therapists.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Respiratory Care Management: Atrium Health Requires Candidates For The Director Respiratory Care Services Ii Position To Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Respiratory Care Department. This Experience Should Include Managing Staff, Budgeting, And Implementing Quality Improvement Initiatives.
