  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive medical education curriculum for all levels of healthcare professionals within Atrium Health.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of curriculum with organizational goals and objectives.
  3. Continuously review and update curriculum to reflect the latest advancements and best practices in the medical field.
  4. Lead and manage a team of medical education professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of curriculum.
  5. Evaluate and select appropriate educational resources and tools to enhance learning and engagement.
  6. Create and oversee assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary adjustments.
  7. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the medical education programs.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and organizations to enhance the curriculum and provide opportunities for collaboration.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to medical education to inform curriculum enhancements.
  10. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards in relation to medical education.
  11. Develop and manage budget for medical education curriculum and programs.
  12. Communicate with and support medical education faculty, providing resources and guidance as needed.
  13. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes for the medical education department.
  14. Represent Atrium Health and the medical education department at conferences, events, and other professional networking opportunities.
  15. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion among the medical education team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Medical Education: Atrium Health Requires A Director Of Medical Education Curriculum To Possess An Advanced Degree In Medical Education, Such As A Doctor Of Education (Edd) Or A Master Of Medical Education (Mme).

  • Extensive Experience In Curriculum Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Medical Education Curriculum At A Reputable Academic Institution Or Healthcare Organization.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Atrium Health Is Seeking A Candidate With Proven Leadership Abilities To Effectively Manage A Team Of Medical Education Professionals And Collaborate With Other Departments Within The Organization.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Accreditation Standards: The Director Of Medical Education Curriculum Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Accreditation Standards Set By The Accreditation Council For Graduate Medical Education (Acgme) And Other Relevant Governing Bodies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Atrium Health Values Effective Communication And Collaboration, And Therefore, Seeks A Candidate Who Can Communicate Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Residents, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
