- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing cash operations, driving efficiency, and improving processes.
- Oversee and manage daily cash operations, including reconciliations, deposits, and cash flow forecasting.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to cash operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement cross-functional initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and other external vendors.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, taking corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices related to cash operations and recommend changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to cash operations and ensure compliance.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of cash operations and any notable developments.
- Identify and resolve any operational or technical issues related to cash operations.
- Continuously strive for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to optimize cash operations.

Extensive Experience In Managing Cash Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Overseeing Cash Operations, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing Large Cash Volumes, Implementing Cash Handling Processes, And Ensuring Compliance With Financial Regulations.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director Of Cash Operations, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Cashiers And Supervisors. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing And Motivating A Team, As Well As Making Strategic Decisions To Improve Efficiency And Productivity.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Financial Regulations: Atrium Health Is A Large Healthcare Organization That Handles A Significant Amount Of Cash Transactions. The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Financial Regulations, Including Hipaa, Sox, And Gaap, And Be Able To Ensure Compliance Across All Cash Handling Processes.
