  1. Manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers, including initial application and ongoing maintenance of credentials.
  2. Monitor and track provider enrollment in insurance networks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  3. Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other third parties to obtain necessary information and resolve any issues.
  4. Conduct thorough and accurate verification of provider credentials, including education, training, licenses, and certifications.
  5. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of provider credentials and enrollment status.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  7. Identify and escalate any potential issues or discrepancies in provider credentials or enrollment.
  8. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing any questions or concerns regarding credentialing and enrollment.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry changes and updates related to credentialing and enrollment processes.
  10. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline and enhance the credentialing and enrollment process.
  11. Adhere to strict confidentiality standards when handling sensitive provider information.
  12. Meet established productivity and quality metrics to ensure efficient and accurate completion of credentialing and enrollment tasks.
  13. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to credentialing and enrollment.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Atrium Health and its mission to provide high-quality healthcare.
  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Medical Staff Credentialing Or Enrollment.

  • Knowledge Of Credentialing Standards And Regulations, Including Ncqa And Joint Commission.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Healthcare Providers And Internal Teams.
