- Manage the credentialing and enrollment process for healthcare providers within Atrium Health.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credentialing and enrollment requirements and processes.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and external parties to obtain necessary information and documentation.
- Conduct thorough reviews of provider applications and supporting documents.
- Verify credentials, licenses, and certifications of healthcare providers.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in the credentialing and enrollment process.
- Ensure timely completion of all credentialing and enrollment tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all credentialing and enrollment activities.
- Participate in audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external parties regarding credentialing and enrollment inquiries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of credentialing and enrollment processes and procedures.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and data privacy policies.
- Keep abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and make necessary adjustments to credentialing and enrollment processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Credentialing, Preferably In A Large Healthcare System.
Strong Knowledge Of Ncqa, Tjc, And Cms Credentialing Standards And Regulations.
Excellent Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Timely Completion Of Credentialing Processes.
Ability To Effectively Communicate With Providers, Staff, And External Agencies, As Well As Strong Customer Service Skills.
