- Accurately manage and update patient condition and documentation records in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient conditions and treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough reviews of patient records to identify any discrepancies or gaps in documentation and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and coding to accurately document and code patient conditions and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to condition management and documentation, and implement changes as needed.
- Act as a resource for healthcare providers and other team members on proper documentation practices and regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of condition management and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure understanding and compliance with documentation processes.
- Participate in trainings and educational opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skills in condition management and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and accurate documentation across all areas of the organization.
- Handle any inquiries or issues related to condition management and documentation in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to the overall success of Atrium Health by actively promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Field Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Or Medical Documentation
Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems And Documentation Software
Knowledge Of Medical Coding And Regulatory Compliance Standards
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills With Ability To Work With Diverse Teams And Patients
