  1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant healthcare compliance regulations, standards, and guidelines.
  2. Conduct regular audits and assessments of the organization's documentation processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and teams to implement and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
  4. Provide education and training to staff on compliance standards and documentation best practices.
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for any compliance-related inquiries or concerns.
  6. Monitor and review documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  7. Identify and address any compliance issues or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  8. Regularly communicate with leadership to provide updates on compliance initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Stay up-to-date on any changes or updates to healthcare compliance regulations and ensure the organization remains in compliance.
  10. Serve as a resource for staff regarding compliance-related questions and concerns.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all compliance activities and initiatives.
  12. Participate in compliance-related meetings and committees as needed.
  13. Conduct ongoing compliance training and education for staff at all levels.
  14. Continuously assess and improve compliance processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality care for patients.
  15. Collaborate with external agencies and auditors during compliance audits and investigations.
  16. Assist in the development and implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures.
  17. Proactively identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  18. Ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities in maintaining compliance within their roles.
  19. Regularly communicate with leadership and other stakeholders to provide updates on compliance initiatives and progress.
  20. Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Compliance/Documentation

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards Related To Healthcare Documentation And Coding

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements Related To Compliance Documentation
