Coding Reimbursement Specialist

Additionally, the candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities:

1. Analyze coding and reimbursement processes within a healthcare setting.
2. Familiarize self with ICD-10 coding and other healthcare coding systems.
3. Create and maintain accurate records of coding and reimbursement activities.
4. Ensure accuracy of data and adherence to coding and reimbursement policies.
5. Identify and address coding and reimbursement issues with clients.
6. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and other stakeholders.
7. Work independently and as part of a larger team to complete projects.
8. Monitor trends in coding and reimbursement processes.
9. Develop solutions to complex coding and reimbursement issues.
10. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
11. Stay up to date on relevant healthcare regulations, legislation, and best practices.
12. Maintain professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other team members.
13. Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills.
14. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
