- Provide compassionate and quality care to pediatric patients in accordance with Atrium Health standards and protocols.
- Serve as a vital member of the healthcare team, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Perform a variety of medical tasks, including taking vitals, administering medications, and assisting with procedures, while adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Act as a patient advocate, addressing any concerns or needs and providing education and resources as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices and advancements in pediatric care.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and verifying insurance information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and equipment, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Certified Or Registered Medical Assistant (Cma/Rma) Certification - Atrium Health Requires All Candidates To Possess A Current Cma Or Rma Certification From An Accredited Institution.
Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures - The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Be Familiar With Common Medical Procedures In Order To Assist Healthcare Providers Effectively.
