  1. Provide safe and effective medication management for diverse patient population
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
  3. Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
  4. Conduct patient medication histories and identify potential drug interactions
  5. Educate patients and caregivers on proper medication use and potential side effects
  6. Monitor patient response to medication therapy and make necessary adjustments
  7. Stay current on new developments and advancements in pharmacology and therapeutics
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed patient medication records
  9. Comply with all legal and ethical standards in pharmaceutical practice
  10. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care plans
  11. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and other staff members
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to medication management
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and demonstrate excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Pharmacy Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited College Or University.

  • Current Licensure As A Pharmacist In The State Of North Carolina.

  • Board Certification In A Relevant Area Of Practice, Such As Ambulatory Care Or Pharmacotherapy.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacotherapy, Drug Interactions, And Medication Management In A Clinical Setting.
