
Clinical Nurse Educator, Simulation Service

- Develop and deliver educational programs and training materials for nursing staff utilizing simulation technology.
- Assess training needs and create curriculum to address identified gaps.
- Facilitate simulation scenarios and debriefings, providing constructive feedback to participants.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure training aligns with organizational goals and standards.
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in simulation technology and incorporate them into training programs.
- Maintain and update simulation equipment and materials to ensure they are up-to-date and functional.
- Develop and maintain relationships with nursing schools and other educational institutions to promote the use of simulation in nursing education.
- Mentor and coach new nursing staff in simulation techniques and best practices.
- Serve as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in utilizing simulation for ongoing education and training.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to simulation training and provide data and feedback to inform these efforts.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop simulation scenarios that reflect real-world patient care situations.
- Keep accurate records of training sessions and participant evaluations to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct research and contribute to the development of evidence-based best practices for simulation training in nursing.
- Act as a role model for professional behavior and nursing excellence in all aspects of simulation training.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing
Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of North Carolina
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Clinical Nursing Experience
Previous Experience As A Nurse Educator Or In Simulation-Based Education
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Teach And Train Healthcare Professionals.
