
Clinical Athletic Trainer I

- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to develop appropriate treatment plans for injuries.
- Provide injury prevention education and strategies to patients and athletic teams.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, coaches, and athletic trainers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Administer treatment and rehabilitation techniques to patients, including therapeutic exercises and modalities.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to provide information and updates on patient care.
- Stay updated on current trends and advancements in athletic training to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals.
- Educate patients on proper nutrition and hydration for optimal athletic performance and injury prevention.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Attend team practices and games to provide on-site medical coverage and assist with immediate care for injuries.
- Assist in coordinating and organizing medical coverage for athletic events and tournaments.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for student athletic trainers and interns.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field, With Certification From The Board Of Certification (Boc).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Athletic Trainer In A Clinical Or Medical Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Sports Injuries, Prevention Techniques, And Rehabilitation Protocols.
Ability To Work Closely With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Physical Therapists, And Coaches.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Interact Effectively With Patients, Athletes, And Their Families.
