Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: A Certified/Registered Medical Assistant At Atrium Health Must Have Completed An Accredited Program That Provides Comprehensive Training In Medical Assisting Skills, Such As Patient Care, Medical Office Procedures, And Clinical Tasks.
Current Certification Or Registration: Atrium Health Requires All Medical Assistants To Hold A Valid Certification Or Registration, Such As The Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Through Recognized Organizations Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or American Medical Technologists (Amt).
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: As Part Of The Resource Team, A Certified/Registered Medical Assistant At Atrium Health Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Common Medical Conditions, And Procedures. This Knowledge Is Essential In Providing Quality Patient Care And Assisting Healthcare Providers In Daily Tasks.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Atrium Health Prefers Candidates With Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital, Clinic, Or Medical Office. This Experience Demonstrates A Candidate's Ability To Handle Fast-Paced And Demanding Work Environments And Adapt To Various Clinical Settings.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Certified/Registered Medical Assistant At Atrium Health Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Team Members.
