Job Description

At Atrium Health, we are looking for an experienced, certified, and passionate Certified Registered Medical Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of the healthcare team at Atrium Health, the Certified Registered Medical Assistant will provide medical care to patients and support the healthcare team in the delivery of patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be someone with excellent communication and organizational skills, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to learning and growth. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or medical office setting. The ideal candidate should also have experience following hospital and clinic protocols, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide medical care to patients in accordance with hospital and clinic protocols.
  2. Assist healthcare team in the delivery of patient-centered care.
  3. Follow established medical office policies and procedures.
  4. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  5. Document patient records accurately and thoroughly.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  7. Assist with inventory and stocking of medical supplies.
  8. Ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
  9. Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
  10. Answer patient questions and address any concerns in a professional manner.
