Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and friendly individual to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. As a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our patients, assisting physicians with patient assessments and treatments, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patient care. Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional care to patients in accordance with Atrium Health policy and procedures • Assist physicians with patient assessments and treatments • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patient care • Document patient information and medical history • Administer medications, vaccinations and other treatments as directed by the physician • Complete paperwork associated with patient care • Maintain patient confidentiality • Answer patient questions and provide education on healthcare topics • Schedule and confirm appointments for patients • Prepare exam rooms with necessary tools and equipment • Ensure medical equipment is functioning properly and safely • Follow proper sterilization and sanitation procedures • Stock exam rooms with medical supplies and medications • Prepare lab specimens for testing • Collect and record vital signs • Assist with other duties as assigned
