  1. Provide compassionate and skilled healthcare services to expectant mothers and their babies.
  2. Collaborate with OBGYN physicians to develop and implement personalized care plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and history to ensure safe and appropriate care.
  4. Monitor and assist in the progress of labor and delivery, providing support and guidance to patients and their families.
  5. Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed.
  6. Educate and counsel patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
  7. Document and maintain accurate medical records.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in women's health and midwifery.
  9. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the delivery of care.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  12. Maintain certification and licensure requirements.
  13. Provide support and guidance to new and less experienced midwives on the team.
  14. Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare team members.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Focus On Midwifery From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Certification As A Nurse Midwife From The American Midwifery Certification Board (Amcb).

  • Current Licensure As An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Certified Nurse Midwife In An Obgyn Setting.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Prenatal Care, Labor And Delivery, Postpartum Care, And Women's Health Issues.
