- Perform a variety of invasive and electrophysiology (EP) procedures on patients with cardiovascular conditions, such as angiograms, cardiac catheterizations, and electrophysiology studies.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist with administering medications as needed during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective delivery of patient care.
- Maintain and operate specialized medical equipment, including imaging technology and EP mapping systems.
- Document and maintain accurate records of procedures, patient progress, and any complications.
- Educate patients and their families on the procedures and post-procedure care instructions.
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in cardiovascular invasive and EP procedures.
- Assist with training and mentoring new staff members and students.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and legal requirements.
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the procedure.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to build positive relationships and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for the department.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or Related Field
Current Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (Rces)
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Cardiac Catheterization Or Electrophysiology Lab
Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Invasive Procedures
Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Complex Cardiovascular Equipment, Including Imaging And Monitoring Devices
