Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field: Atrium Health Requires All Athletic Trainers To Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Board Of Certification (Boc) Certification: Atrium Health Requires All Athletic Trainers To Hold Current Certification From The Boc, Which Is The Recognized National Credentialing Agency For Athletic Trainers.
State Licensure: Candidates Must Have A Current And Valid State License To Practice Athletic Training. This License Must Be In Good Standing And Meet All State Requirements.
Experience Working With Athletes: Atrium Health Is Looking For Athletic Trainers With Experience Working With Athletes Of All Ages And Skill Levels. This Could Include Experience In A Clinical Setting, With High School Or College Sports Teams, Or With Professional Athletes.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: An Essential Aspect Of The Athletic Trainer's Job Is Working Closely With Athletes, Coaches, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role.
