
Assistant Vice President - Patient Care

- Lead and oversee all aspects of patient care operations, ensuring high-quality and compassionate care is delivered to patients.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to continuously improve patient care processes and outcomes.
- Supervise and support patient care teams, providing guidance and resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of patient care services.
- Monitor and analyze patient care metrics and data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in patient care, incorporating them into the organization's operations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community partners to enhance patient satisfaction and community outreach efforts.
- Develop and manage budgets for patient care operations, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
- Act as a liaison between patient care teams and senior leadership, providing regular updates and reports on patient care operations and initiatives.
- Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, upholding the values and mission of Atrium Health.
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of patient care staff, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to patient care, ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and staff to address any concerns or issues related to patient care.
- Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Healthcare Administration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Operations, Quality Improvement, And Patient Care Delivery.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Multidisciplinary Teams.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Implementing Strategic Initiatives To Improve Patient Outcomes And Satisfaction.
