1. Assist anesthesiologists and CRNAs in providing safe and effective care to patients undergoing medical procedures.
2. Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, including ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
3. Set up and monitor patient monitoring devices, such as EKG machines and pulse oximeters.
4. Assist with patient positioning and securing of airway devices.
5. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the anesthesia team.
6. Anticipate and respond to the needs of the anesthesia team during procedures.
7. Prepare and administer medications and fluids as directed by the anesthesia team.
8. Maintain accurate and complete records of all procedures and medications administered.
