CAD Drafter
The CAD Drafter is responsible for the creation and timely release of engineered parts and assemblies that are error-free and ready for purchase or fabrication. At Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench, you will be working in a collaborative engineering/production environment where your design concepts will come to fruition. Gain a detailed understanding of core rotating machinery and systems mechanical design. Create and maintain bill of materials in the ERP systems (SAP). Create and maintain parts and assemblies in the PLM system (Enovia). Update and add to the design guide by creating Wiki content. Work closely with shop personnel to ensure ease of manufacturing.
Minimum 2 years of drafting experience, Solidworks experience preferred, AutoCAD experience is a plus
Solidworks experience preferred, Solidworks Routing experience is a plus
PLM software experience desired. Enovia/3DX experience a plus
Possess an understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
