- Develop and implement programs and initiatives to combat substance abuse in the community.
- Collaborate with community organizations, treatment centers, and government agencies to establish partnerships and resources for individuals struggling with addiction.
- Conduct research on best practices and evidence-based approaches to address substance abuse.
- Create and manage budgets for program initiatives and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers to assist with program implementation.
- Coordinate and facilitate support groups, workshops, and educational events for individuals affected by substance abuse.
- Provide individual counseling and support to clients seeking treatment for addiction.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of program activities and participant progress.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local government officials, healthcare providers, and community leaders.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in addiction treatment and incorporate them into program strategies.
- Advocate for the needs of individuals struggling with addiction and work to reduce stigma surrounding substance abuse.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Attend meetings and conferences related to substance abuse prevention and treatment.
- Represent the organization at community events and serve as a spokesperson for the program.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Coordinating Programs Related To Drug And Alcohol Abuse Prevention Or Treatment.
Knowledge Of Local And State Laws And Regulations Pertaining To Drug And Alcohol Abuse.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Individuals And Community Organizations.
Ability To Develop And Implement Strategic Plans And Evaluate Program Effectiveness.
