  11. Effectively communicate study results and project updates to key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
  12. Drive continuous improvement and optimization of processes, contributing to the growth and success of the cell therapy program at AstraZeneca.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Immunology Or Related Field: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Would Possess A Doctoral Degree In Immunology Or A Related Field, Such As Cell Biology Or Molecular Biology. This Advanced Degree Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In The Scientific Principles Necessary For The Development And Optimization Of Cell-Based Therapies.

  • Extensive Experience In Translational Science And Cell Therapy: The Associate Director Will Be Responsible For Leading The Translational Science Efforts For Immunology Cell Therapy Projects. Therefore, A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Translational Science And Cell Therapy Is Required, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory And Compliance Requirements: A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory And Compliance Requirements For The Development And Commercialization Of Cell-Based Therapies Is Essential. The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Working Knowledge Of Fda And Ema Regulations And Guidelines, As Well As Experience With Ind And Bla Submissions.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: As An Associate Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Scientists And Managing Multiple Projects. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role. The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Teams And Projects In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Associate Director Will Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams Including Research, Development, Clinical, And Commercial Teams.
