Act as a brand ambassador for AstraZeneca, representing the company and its values to healthcare professionals and stakeholders in the assigned territory.
Develop a deep understanding of the immunology market and competitive landscape in the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists, to promote AstraZeneca's immunology portfolio.
Utilize clinical knowledge and expertise to effectively educate healthcare professionals on the benefits and proper use of AstraZeneca's immunology products.
Plan and execute promotional activities and educational events in collaboration with the marketing team to increase awareness and drive sales.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges in the assigned territory.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and medical affairs, to develop and implement strategic plans for the assigned territory.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
Attend and actively participate in internal and external training programs to continuously enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards while carrying out daily responsibilities.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Life Sciences Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Discipline Such As Biology, Biochemistry, Or Immunology Is Typically Required For This Role. This Educational Background Provides A Strong Foundation In The Scientific Knowledge Needed To Effectively Promote And Sell Immunology Products.
Previous Experience In Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Sales: A Track Record Of Success In Sales, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry, Is Highly Desirable For This Position. Candidates Should Have A Proven Ability To Effectively Communicate And Build Relationships With Healthcare Professionals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of The Immunology Therapy Area: A Thorough Understanding Of The Immunology Therapy Area, Including Current Treatment Options And Emerging Trends, Is Essential For This Role. This Knowledge Will Allow The Therapy Area Specialist To Engage In Meaningful Discussions With Healthcare Professionals And Promote Astrazeneca's Products Effectively.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Therapy Area Specialist, The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Build Strong Relationships With Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial. Strong Presentation Skills, Active Listening, And The Ability To Adapt Communication Styles To Different Audiences Are All Important Qualifications For This Role.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team: Astrazeneca Values Self-Motivated And Driven Individuals Who Can Work Independently To Achieve Results, While Also Collaborating Effectively With Team Members.
