  1. Develop and execute strategies to drive the growth of our oncology portfolio, specifically in the Gynecology and Genitourinary cancer areas.
  2. Lead and manage a team of individuals to ensure alignment and collaboration towards achieving therapeutic area objectives.
  3. Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in the oncology market, particularly in the Gynecology and Genitourinary cancer areas.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue potential partnerships and collaborations to further advance our oncology portfolio.
  5. Provide expert guidance and insights to inform decision making at all levels of the organization, from product development to commercialization.
  6. Continuously monitor and analyze market and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
  7. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders in the oncology community.
  8. Represent AstraZeneca at conferences, meetings, and other events related to the Gynecology and Genitourinary cancer areas.
  9. Act as a mentor and coach to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the development and promotion of our oncology products.
  11. Collaborate with other Therapeutic Area Leads to share best practices and drive overall success of the oncology business.
  12. Contribute to the overall strategy and vision of the company as a member of the Oncology leadership team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Medicine, Pharmacy, Or Life Sciences With A Focus In Oncology Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Clinical Development Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry, With At Least 3 Years In Oncology Gyn-Gu.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of The Drug Development Process, Including Clinical Trial Design, Regulatory Requirements, And Data Analysis.

  • Strong Leadership Skills With Experience In Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Leading Complex Projects.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Key Opinion Leaders And Regulatory Agencies.
