Lead clinical studies: Plan, design, and execute clinical studies for the development of novel therapeutics in the field of neuroinflammation and immunology cell therapy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with teams including research and development, regulatory affairs, and commercial to advance therapeutics through the pipeline.
Utilize expertise in neuroinflammation and immunology: Apply in-depth knowledge and experience in these areas to drive scientific and medical development of therapies.
Monitor patient safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of patients participating in clinical studies by closely monitoring and reporting any adverse events.
Analyze data: Review and analyze clinical trial data to make informed decisions on the development of therapies.
Develop protocols and study documents: Draft and review study protocols, informed consent forms, and other essential study documents.
Communicate with investigators and study sites: Serve as the primary medical contact for investigators and study sites, providing guidance and support for the execution of clinical studies.
Stay current with industry and scientific developments: Continuously monitor and assess industry and scientific developments related to neuroinflammation and immunology to inform clinical development strategies.
Represent AstraZeneca at scientific conferences: Attend and present at conferences to share research and promote the company's scientific expertise.
Contribute to publications and presentations: Work with the medical writing team to contribute to publications and presentations on clinical study results.
Uphold ethical and regulatory standards: Ensure all clinical studies are conducted in compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
Mentor and train team members: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications

Medical Degree: A Study Physician- Neuroinflammation, Immunology Cell Therapy Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Individual Has A Strong Foundation In Medical Knowledge And Can Effectively Understand And Analyze Clinical Data.
Specialization In Neuroinflammation And Immunology: A Strong Understanding Of Neuroinflammatory Diseases And Immunology Is Essential For This Role. A Study Physician Should Have A Specialized Background In These Areas And A Deep Understanding Of The Underlying Mechanisms And Treatment Options.
Clinical Research Experience: Experience In Conducting Clinical Research Is A Critical Qualification For A Study Physician. This Includes Knowledge Of Study Design, Protocol Development, Data Analysis, And Interpretation Of Results.
Experience In Cell Therapy: Astrazeneca Is A Leader In The Field Of Cell Therapy, And A Study Physician Must Have Experience In This Area. This Includes Knowledge Of Cellular Therapies, Such As Car-T And Other Immunotherapy Approaches, And Their Potential Applications In Neuroinflammatory Diseases.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: A Study Physician Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Other Healthcare Professionals, Patients, And Team Members. They Should Also Have Strong Teamwork Skills To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Contribute To The Successful Execution Of Clinical Trials.
