  1. Lead and mentor a team of statistical programmers to ensure quality and timely delivery of statistical programming deliverables.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide statistical programming support for drug development projects.
  3. Utilize expertise in statistical programming to drive data-driven decision making and support the development of life-changing medicines and treatments.
  4. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in statistical programming to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
  5. Review and ensure accuracy of statistical programming deliverables, including tables, listings, and figures.
  6. Provide guidance and support to team members on complex statistical programming issues.
  7. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and processes for statistical programming activities.
  8. Monitor and track project timelines and resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  9. Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders, including senior management.
  10. Collaborate with external vendors for statistical programming activities as needed.
  11. Assist in the development and review of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and other study-related documents.
  12. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of statistical programming deliverables.
  13. Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  14. Adhere to regulatory guidelines and company policies and procedures.
  15. Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the team and across departments.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Knowledge Of Statistical Programming Languages: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding And Proficiency In Statistical Programming Languages Such As R, Sas, And Python. They Should Be Able To Write Efficient And Well-Documented Code For Data Analysis And Modeling.

  • Experience In Pharmaceutical Research And Development: Astrazeneca Is A Global Pharmaceutical Company, So Experience Working In The Industry Or A Related Field Is Essential. The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Drug Development Process And Be Familiar With Regulatory Guidelines.

  • Leadership Skills: The Associate Director Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Statistical Programmers, So Strong Leadership Skills Are A Must. They Should Have Experience Managing And Mentoring Team Members, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
