Job Description

AstraZeneca is looking for an experienced Sr. Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for scientific innovation and have a proven track record of success in medicinal chemistry research. This position requires an individual with strong chemistry knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Chemistry, with at least 5 years of post-doctoral or industrial experience in medicinal chemistry.We seek an individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, who can work well in a team-based environment. The Sr. Scientist will be expected to lead a team of scientists and oversee projects, while also serving as a mentor and offering guidance and technical expertise. The successful candidate will be expected to keep abreast of latest developments in medicinal chemistry and drive innovation in drug discovery.This is an incredible opportunity for a talented and motivated scientist to join a diverse and collaborative team of scientists at AstraZeneca.
