  1. Develop and implement statistical strategies for the pharmaceutical products of AstraZeneca.
  2. Utilize advanced statistical methods and techniques to analyze and interpret data.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical trials.
  4. Provide expert statistical support and guidance to project teams.
  5. Lead and mentor junior statisticians within the team.
  6. Ensure that all statistical activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company standards.
  7. Contribute to the development and review of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and clinical study reports.
  8. Proactively identify and address any statistical issues or challenges that may arise during the course of a project.
  9. Stay current with advances in biostatistics and incorporate new techniques and methodologies into projects.
  10. Communicate results and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert for biostatistics within the company.
  12. Participate in the review and interpretation of scientific literature and external research to support decision-making.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure high-quality statistical deliverables.
  14. Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and best practices within the biostatistics team.
  15. Act as a representative for AstraZeneca at conferences and scientific meetings.
  16. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the biostatistics team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Statistics, Biostatistics, Or A Related Field (Phd Preferred)

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Biostatistics, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience With Statistical Software Such As Sas And R

  • Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Statistical Analyses For Clinical Trials And/Or Observational Studies

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Statistical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
