Senior Scientist Translational PKPD Modeling & DMPK

AstraZeneca is looking for a highly motivated Senior Scientist Translational PKPD Modeling & DMPK who can drive our innovative and cutting-edge research. We are looking for someone who is passionate about discovery and development and loves to be part of an interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, Systems Biology, or a related quantitative field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, and/or pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation. Experience with population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling and/or systems pharmacology is preferred. Demonstrated success in leading drug discovery and development projects is essential, and the ability to translate in vitro and preclinical data into meaningful pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic models is highly desirable. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the principles of drug disposition, drug metabolism, and pharmacokinetics, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a strong track record of successful collaborations.
