Job Description

AstraZeneca is looking for an experienced Senior Scientist - Preformulation with a passion for drug product development to join our team. The successful candidate must have a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience in preformulation or formulation. The Senior Scientist - Preformulation will play a key role in AstraZeneca's product development team, responsible for the preformulation and formulation of innovative drug products. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, outstanding communication skills and a desire to excel. The successful applicant will be a creative problem-solver, able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials science and physical chemistry, with experience in physicochemical characterization, solubility and stability studies, and formulation optimization.
