Senior Scientist, Clinical PBPK Modeling

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Scientist, Clinical PBPK Modeling to join the team at AstraZeneca. In this position, you will have the opportunity to apply your extensive knowledge of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling to help us discover and develop innovative treatments for patients around the world.Your responsibilities will include developing, validating, and applying clinical PBPK models to analyze data from clinical studies and explore dosing strategies. Your work will provide valuable insights on drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination, as well as drug-drug interactions. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify the optimal dose and design of clinical trials.To succeed in this role, you will need a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific discipline such as pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, or toxicology. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a strong track record in applying advanced clinical PBPK modeling techniques to analyze clinical trials.
