Lead and manage bioconjugation projects within the life sciences field.
Mentor and train junior scientists and team members on bioconjugation techniques and methods.
Conduct innovative research and develop new bioconjugation techniques to advance drug discovery and development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement experiments and analyze results.
Prepare and present data and findings to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in bioconjugation and contribute to the development of new strategies and technologies.
Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose solutions.
Write and review scientific publications, patents, and other documents related to bioconjugation research.
Lead by example in promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and other scientific events to showcase our bioconjugation capabilities.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to cross-functional teams on bioconjugation-related matters.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Biochemistry, Chemistry, Or Related Field: A Senior Scientist, Bioconjugation At Astrazeneca Should Possess An Advanced Degree (Phd Or Equivalent) In A Relevant Scientific Discipline To Demonstrate A Strong Foundation In Bioconjugation And Related Fields.
Extensive Experience In Bioconjugation Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Bioconjugation, With A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Optimizing Various Conjugation Methods, Such As Protein-Protein, Protein-Drug, And Antibody-Drug Conjugation.
Strong Understanding Of Drug Development Process: A Senior Scientist, Bioconjugation Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Drug Development Process, Including Drug Discovery, Preclinical And Clinical Development, And Regulatory Requirements, To Effectively Contribute To The Development Of Bioconjugate Therapeutics.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: Astrazeneca Is Looking For A Candidate With Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills To Lead And Manage A Team Of Scientists, Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, And Effectively Drive Projects To Meet Timelines And Deliverables.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Senior Scientist, Bioconjugation Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Concepts And Results To Various Stakeholders, Both Internal And External.
