Manage and maintain the stability and performance of AstraZeneca's SAP systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other critical business processes.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the SAP landscape.
Monitor and troubleshoot any issues or errors within the SAP environment, providing timely resolutions.
Perform regular system health checks and proactively identify and address potential issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and make recommendations for implementation as needed.
Lead and coordinate SAP system upgrades, patches, and installations.
Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
Train and mentor junior team members on SAP Basis administration best practices.
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for system support and maintenance.
Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization activities to ensure optimal system performance.
Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations and standards.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations to support business objectives.
Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement new SAP functionalities.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Sap Basis Administration: A Senior Sap Basis Consultant At Astrazeneca Should Have A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Sap Basis Administration, Including Installation, Configuration, And Maintenance Of Sap Systems.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Sap Architecture: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Technical Architecture Of Sap Systems, Including The Underlying Database, Application Servers, And Interfaces With Other Systems.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Consultant, The Individual Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Identifying And Resolving Complex Technical Issues In A Timely Manner.
Project Management Skills: Astrazeneca Is A Global Organization With Multiple Sap Systems, And The Senior Consultant Will Be Responsible For Managing Projects Related To Sap System Upgrades, Migrations, And New Implementations.
Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management: The Role Involves Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Business Users, It Teams, And External Vendors. Strong Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
