Develop and implement effective learning and development strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Design and deliver engaging training programs that meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
Coordinate and facilitate company-wide learning initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and online courses.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously enhance our training offerings.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand their learning needs and provide impactful solutions.
Utilize a variety of learning methods and technologies to ensure a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
Manage the learning and development budget and resources to ensure effective use of company resources.
Communicate and promote learning opportunities to employees and encourage participation.
Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on learning and development topics.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to integrate learning and development initiatives into overall talent development strategies.
Continuously seek feedback and make adjustments to training programs to ensure their relevance and effectiveness.
Develop and maintain accurate records and reports on training activities and outcomes.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to bring new ideas and innovations to the company.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Designing And Delivering Learning Solutions: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Effective Learning Programs For A Large Organization. This Should Include Experience In Designing And Delivering Training Materials, As Well As Utilizing Various Instructional Methods And Technologies.
Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles: A Senior L&D Learning Specialist Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of How Adults Learn And Be Able To Apply This Knowledge To Create Engaging And Effective Learning Experiences. This Includes Knowledge Of Learning Theories, Instructional Design Models, And Evaluation Techniques.
Expertise In Learning Technologies: The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With A Variety Of Learning Technologies, Such As Learning Management Systems (Lms), E-Learning Authoring Tools, And Virtual Classroom Platforms. They Should Be Able To Evaluate, Select, And Implement Appropriate Technologies To Support The Organization's Learning Objectives.
Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Stakeholders: A Senior L&D Learning Specialist At Astrazeneca Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Learning Projects Simultaneously, As Well As Working With Various Stakeholders, Including Subject Matter Experts, Managers, And Other L&D Professionals. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Industry And Regulatory Requirements: Astrazeneca Is A Global Pharmaceutical Company, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Industry And Its Unique Learning Needs. They Should Also Be Familiar With Regulatory Requirements, Such As Compliance Training And Industry-Specific Certifications. Previous Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry Is Preferred.
