- Develop and implement strategies to ensure clinical trials are patient-centered and prioritize patient needs and experiences.
- Lead a team of clinical trial managers and coordinators to ensure the successful execution of patient-centered trials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, regulatory, and commercial, to incorporate patient perspectives throughout the clinical trial process.
- Design and oversee the implementation of patient engagement initiatives, such as advisory boards and patient recruitment strategies.
- Analyze patient feedback and data to continuously improve and optimize patient-centered clinical trial processes.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines for patient-centered clinical trials.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for patient-centered clinical trials, and incorporate them into AstraZeneca's approach.
- Foster a culture of patient-centricity within the organization by promoting patient advocacy and involvement in all aspects of clinical development.
- Develop and manage budgets and resources for patient-centered clinical trials.
- Represent AstraZeneca at conferences, meetings, and other events to promote patient-centered clinical trials and share best practices with industry peers.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Medicine, Pharmacy, Or Life Sciences.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Leading Clinical Trials In The Pharmaceutical Industry, With A Focus On Patient-Centered Approaches.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing And Implementing Patient-Centered Clinical Trials, Including Incorporating Patient Feedback And Engagement Strategies.
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines For Conducting Clinical Trials, Including Patient Safety And Data Integrity.
